Lagos Blockchain Week 2024: Uniting the Community for Blockchain Interoperability and AI
The Lagos Blockchain Week is set to take the vibrant and varied community centered around blockchain interoperability and cryptocurrency technologies by storm in the second week of June 2024. The event, which will be held at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos from the 10th to the 15th of June, promises to be an all-encompassing program aimed at unlocking the potential of blockchain interoperability.
With a theme of “The Blockchain Interoperability and AI: Powering Africa’s Digital Transformation”, the 6-day long event will feature a hackathon with a pool of prizes worth $20,000 for web3 developers. The event will kick off with the Crypto 101 Conference on June 10, where participants will be introduced to Bitcoin and Blockchain concepts, as well as learn about building a crypto portfolio and understanding DeFi protocols.
The following days will feature workshops and masterclasses on topics such as Virtual Reality creation, NFT artistry, AI-driven smart contracts, and decentralized storage. The event will culminate in a summit for Web3 Builders on the final day, where participants will engage in advanced smart contract development and building decentralized applications.
