Vietnam E-Visa Simplifies Travel for Greek, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indian, and Irish Citizens
Traveling to Vietnam has become easier for citizens of Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, and Ireland thanks to the Vietnam E-visa program. With the exception of citizens from visa-exempt countries, individuals from these nations can now apply for an electronic visa online, streamlining the visa application process.
Citizens of Greece, Hungary, and Iceland, along with nationals from 80 other countries, are eligible to apply for a Vietnam E-visa. This electronic visa allows for a one-month, single-entry stay in Vietnam for purposes such as tourism, business, education, and training. The online application form can be completed in as little as ten minutes, making it convenient for travelers from these countries.
To apply for a Vietnam E-visa, citizens of these countries must possess a passport valid for 180 days from their arrival date in Vietnam. They will also need to provide digital copies of their passport’s biographical page and a recent ID photo, as well as a debit or credit card for the processing fee. Additionally, travelers must have their travel itinerary ready and a valid email address to receive notifications and the approved E-visa.
The Vietnam E-visa program was introduced in 2017, allowing citizens of 80 countries, including India and Ireland, to apply for and receive e-Visas online. This online visa permits a stay of up to 30 days in Vietnam for various purposes, but is not suitable for extended or permanent stays in the country.
Overall, the Vietnam E-visa program has simplified the visa application process for citizens of Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, and Ireland, making it easier for them to travel to Vietnam for tourism, business, education, and other purposes.
