Recent XRP Whale Activity on Binance: Two Anonymous Wallet Owners Withdraw 44 Million XRP
The cryptocurrency world is abuzz with news of two mysterious whales making significant transactions with XRP on the Binance exchange. According to Whale Alert, a prominent blockchain tracker, these anonymous wallet owners have withdrawn a total of 44 million XRP, valued at over $22 million.
These transactions come at a time when the price of XRP has experienced a slight decline of nearly 4%. The two whales withdrew 23,037,429 XRP and 20,980,252 XRP from Binance, with the transfers totaling $22,153,891.
Interestingly, this is not the first time such large XRP withdrawals have been made from Binance. Data from the Bithomp cryptocurrency explorer suggests that these transactions may be internal movements initiated by the exchange itself.
In addition to these withdrawals, Whale Alert also reported a separate transaction of 30,350,000 XRP to the Bitstamp exchange. This transfer, valued at $15,920,021, was initiated by a wallet linked to Ripple Labs, the company behind XRP.
These transactions highlight the continued interest and activity surrounding XRP and its use in the cryptocurrency market. As the world of blockchain and digital assets continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how these large-scale transactions impact the broader industry.
