IRISnet Node Takedown Announcement: Important Information for Coinswap Users

IRISnet, a prominent service protocol and cryptocurrency platform, has recently announced a significant change that will impact its users. The platform will be taking down its IOV node on April 19th, citing strategic adjustments as the reason behind this decision. This move means that users will no longer be able to retrieve their IOV assets from the Coinswap platform after the specified date.

In a tweet posted by IRISnet, they urged all Coinswap users to take action before the node takedown date. They advised users to transfer their IOV assets back to the Starname chain before April 19th, as asset retrieval will not be possible once the node is removed.

IRISnet, launched in 2019, aims to provide blockchain-based, open networks to small and medium businesses for various services. The platform focuses on bringing the benefits of decentralized and open networks to businesses and freelance service providers through the use of public and consortium blockchains.

One of the key developments within the IRISnet ecosystem is IRITA, an enterprise blockchain solution that offers flexible digital asset modeling and privacy-centric data authorization. The platform differentiates itself by combining on-chain and off-chain functionalities to optimize efficiency and scalability in business operations.

The native cryptocurrency within the IRISnet ecosystem, the IRIS token, plays a crucial role in facilitating network activities such as transactions, staking, and participation in governance mechanisms. It incentivizes participants and allows token holders to engage in the governance of the protocol, ensuring smooth transactions and interactions within the network.

As the platform prepares for strategic adjustments by taking down its IOV node, users are advised to take necessary actions to secure their assets before the deadline. This development marks a significant change within the IRISnet ecosystem, highlighting the platform’s commitment to providing efficient and secure blockchain solutions for businesses and service providers.
