Celebrating Women in Web3: Top Women of Central and Eastern Europe Initiative
The Polish Blockchain Association Launches “Top Women of Web3, Central and Eastern Europe Edition” Initiative
In a groundbreaking move to celebrate and highlight the achievements of women in the Web3 and blockchain industry, the Polish Blockchain Association has launched the “Top Women of Web3, Central and Eastern Europe edition” initiative. This initiative aims to shine a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of women in shaping the Web3 landscape in Poland and the broader region.
Recognizing the importance of diversity as a driving force in the industry, the Polish Blockchain Association acknowledges the significant impact women are making in the Web3 space. Despite their contributions, women are often underrepresented in industry events such as conferences and webinars. The initiative seeks to address this imbalance by bringing more visibility to the achievements of female professionals in Central and Eastern Europe.
To participate in this empowering initiative, individuals are invited to nominate outstanding women who have made a direct impact on the Web3 industry over the past year. Whether self-nominating or nominating a colleague, the goal is to recognize and celebrate the women shaping the industry in the region. Nominations can be submitted on the nomination page, with a deadline of December 31, 2023, and winners set to be announced in January 2024.
The Polish Blockchain Association will select 20 outstanding profiles from the nominations, with winners being featured in a special report. This report will be published by the association and shared with conference and event organizers to increase the visibility of women in industry events as speakers and contributors. Winners will also receive free tickets or discounts to attend the Tech of Tomorrow Conference in September 2024.
By showcasing the diverse talent in the Web3 space, the initiative aims to inspire the next generation of leaders in the industry. The Polish Blockchain Association, in collaboration with Hipther, is committed to creating a more inclusive future for the world of technology.
